Theatrical speech

Speech having the purpose to inform spectators and affect other characters on dramatic and psychological levels.

Characteristics:

  • Reveals context, as well as spatiality considering the recording method
  • Does not necessarily reveal any spatial cues but is usually affected by spatial signature
  • Main point of information on voccocentrist film, becomes the main point of focus
  • Magnetisation can back up the lack of spatial information to orientate the viewer in the diegesis
